We were commissioned to design, facilitate and manage the construction of an oak framed building in rural Hampshire for a private client in 2016. The building internally is crafted with feature oak trusses and an open plan layout, to allow the family to use it as a flexible entertainment room. Large glass gables and double height vaulted spaces allow light to fill the room on the south elevation. The building is all about materials and providing something which was sympathetic to the existing house and surrounding context.
